O-F School Board moves up high school graduation date

OSSEO - The Osseo-Fairchild School approved at its June meeting back on the 12th at the technical learning center to move the date of the Osseo-Fairchild High School graduation back a week.

By a unanimous vote, the Board agreed to move the date of next year's graduation to May 18.

Other agenda items the Board took up and approved unanimously the AGR (Achievement Gap Reduction) report. Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) and Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) membership renewals, cooperative agreements with other school districts for library media specialist, social worker, reading specialist and physical therapist; approved changes to Wellness Policy and Food Services Policy and approved 2023 School District General Records Schedule as presented.

The following resignations were unanimously approved by the Board: Shelley Schroeder – Elementary Teacher; Larry Severson- Special Education Teacher; Megan Murvine – MS/HS Art Teacher. The following hires were made: Kimberly Solis - Teacher; Jeff Stoik - Middle School Boys Basketball; Ben Mueller – Middle School Football; Ben Mueller – Middle School Girls Basketball. The following volunteers were approved: Amber Litchfield – Dance and Destiny Yarrington - Dance.
