Osseo City Council holds monthly meeting

OSSEO - The Osseo City Council held its monthly meeting for June back on the 8th at City Hall.

The council approved all requests by the farmer's market and Lake Martha Days Committee and the Osseo Commerical Club for a circus on July 23 at Jon Soiney Field.

The council also announced that the city would no longer capture or trap wild animals such as raccoons or skunks.

All retailer's license applications for beer and liquor were approved with the exception of the request made by Hot Rods Investments for Class B beer and liquor for Exit 88. This particular license was later taken up by Investor Property Management and approved. The adult-themed license for Darling's Gifts was also approved.

The council approved the renewal and reaffirming of its fair housing resolution.

All invoices to various public engineering firms such as Cedar Corp. out of Menomonie and SEH out of Chippewa Falls along with Crane Engineering for various projects were approved.

The council discussed clean-up plans for Curt's Auto Body and former Palladium properties along with cutting the grass at the Oak Ridge Develeopment.
