Logan Lien stays slightly ahead of Pine Island’s Logan Meurer in the 1600-meter race Thursday. Lien went on to break the 5-minute barrier for the first time—his goal heading into the meet—on his way to the win in the mile race while Meurer dropped back to 3rd place behind Kenyon-Wanamingo’s Ben Bohn.
Olivia Sailer maintains her steady pace and holds onto her short lead over her closest pursuer, Pine Island’s Jocasta Adelman, on her way to winning the Women’s 1600-meter run Thursday. Sailer dropped to 3rd place momentarily early in the last lap but quickly regained the lead and hung on to win the race.
