Lady Panthers open 2015-16 season with tough losses

Junior Jordyn Bloom converted her second fast-break layup in a row for the Lady Panthers. Bloom had seven points as Gilmanton played a non-conference contest at neighboring Mondovi, resulting in a 53-21 loss for the Lady Panthers.

Sophomore MaKayla Saul looked for an outlet after grabbing a defensive rebound as Mondovi players pressured in the backcourt.

Grabbing a rebound, Gilmanton junior Hailey Bork dribbled up the court.

Looking for an open teammate, senior Rachel Hovey dribbled under the basket as Mondovi’s Anna Accola (32) and Miranda Lund (55) looked on.

Freshman Kaitlynn Johnson pulled up for a jumper near the free throw line.
